ORANJESTAD – Mr. Thomas G.W.A. Domhoff officially took office on July 1 as President of the Centrale Bank van Aruba (CBA). His first day included meetings with the CBA's management team, followed by a welcome gathering with staff. Mr. Domhoff was sworn as President of the CBA on June 25 by the Governor of Aruba, H.E. Alfonso Boekhoudt, at the Governor's official residence.
The CBA thanks Mrs. Miriam Gonzalez, who, as Interim President, ensured continuity of leadership during the transition period.
Under Mr. Domhoff's leadership, the CBA will continue to carry out its principal tasks: maintaining the stability of the Aruban florin, promoting the soundness and integrity of the financial system of Aruba, and helping maintain an efficient and reliable payment system.
