Sinterklaas arrives in Aruba November 15 with over 100 Piets

ORANJESTAD — Sinterklaas will arrive in Aruba on Sunday, November 15, 2026, accompanied by more than 100 Piets for a festive celebration in downtown Oranjestad. The program includes a traditional arrival by boat, a tram procession and children's entertainment at Plaza Nikki Habibe.

The Cruise Terminal's Gate 5, near Welcome Plaza, will open to the public at 2:00 PM, with Sinterklaas's boat expected to arrive at 3:00 PM.

Following the arrival, Sinterklaas and his Piets will travel through downtown aboard the ARUTRAM, passing Weststraat, Havenstraat, Kazernestraat and Caya G.F. Betico Croes.

The procession is expected to reach Plaza Nikki Habibe at 4:00 PM, where families can enjoy performances, dancing, children's games and photo opportunities with Sinterklaas. Activities will continue until 6:00 PM.

Organizers advise parents to bring sun protection and sufficient water and to supervise children closely throughout the festivities.
