Delta passenger alleges discrimination on flight to Aruba

ORANJESTAD — Delta Air Lines passenger Craig Stewart has accused a flight attendant of discriminatory treatment during a flight to Aruba after he took four complimentary bags of pistachios and attempted to take gummy bears.

Stewart claims the attendant told him to consider other passengers who also wanted snacks. He believes the crew member's tone and behavior were disrespectful and possibly racially motivated.

The incident went viral on social media. Delta apologized, offered Stewart a $100 travel voucher and promised an internal investigation.

Meanwhile, several flight attendants have defended the crew member, arguing that onboard snack supplies are limited and must be shared among passengers.
