ORANJESTAD — Radboud University executive board president Alexandra van Huffelen is visiting Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao to recruit students and strengthen academic ties. To us, she was known as previous Dutch Secretary of State for Kingdom Relations. During the tour, the delegation is informing school pupils and parents about studying in the Netherlands and preparing for successful studies in Nijmegen.
The visit is partly funded through the university’s student recruitment budget; its total cost has not been disclosed. In Curaçao, Van Huffelen is also discussing graduates’ return and expanded cooperation with the University of Curaçao.
