ORANJESTAD — The Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) and Aruba Excellence Foundation (AEF) have signed a new agreement to continue and expand educational programs focused on service quality and the visitor experience in Aruba.
The agreement, signed by A.T.A. CEO Ronella Croes and AEF Supervisory Board President Monica Bos, provides funding for the development and implementation of the Aruba Certification Program (ACP) and other educational activities linked to AEF’s mission.
Aruba Excellence Foundation has managed the Aruba Certification Program since 2018 and focuses on promoting excellence in service and hospitality. The ACP itself has existed since 2011 and provides tourism professionals with knowledge about Aruba’s culture, history, nature and hospitality.
An updated version of the ACP will be introduced during 2026, featuring refreshed content, modernized learning methods and more opportunities for both in-person and digital training. The goal is to keep the program relevant to the current needs of the tourism industry and strengthen service quality.
According to A.T.A. and AEF, well-prepared professionals are essential to the visitor experience and to Aruba’s continued competitiveness as a tourism destination.
