Strong July tourism; visitors spent $184.9 million with Visa

ORANJESTAD – Aruba welcomed 160,858 stayover visitors in July 2026, with an average stay of 6.7 nights. North America accounted for 72.1% of arrivals, led by the United States with 111,236 visitors. Argentina recorded 16,905 visitors.

ATA also reported that during the first six months of 2026, 304,308 international Visa cardholders spent $184.9 million in Aruba. Restaurants and food establishments led with $56.7 million, followed by accommodation at $44 million and retail at $39.3 million.

Short-term vacation rentals recorded 62% occupancy in July, an average daily rate of $384 and approximately $36.7 million in revenue.
