ORANJESTAD, Aruba — As international relief efforts for earthquake-stricken Venezuela continue to expand, Aruba has emerged as an important regional logistics hub supporting humanitarian flights into its neighboring country. And Aruba’s help is making the news internationally.

According to humanitarian aviation reports, Aruba Airport Authority confirmed that the airport community is helping prepare and coordinate relief flights carrying emergency supplies to Venezuela. Airport partners are working together to ensure safe and efficient operations as Aruba stands ready to support ongoing humanitarian missions.

International carriers including LATAM, Avianca, Vietnam Airlines and Samaritan's Purse have already transported hundreds of tons of emergency cargo, ranging from field hospitals and medical equipment to food, clean water systems and search-and-rescue equipment.

With the confirmed death toll now exceeding 1,900 and thousands still missing, Aruba's strategic location continues to make the island an important gateway for international humanitarian assistance reaching Venezuela.
