ORANJESTAD – A record number of motions were registered during the 2018 budget parliament talks. Parliament president Ady Thijsen confirmed to NoticiaCla that this is a very unusual amount and even a posible record. He mentioned between 70 to 80 motions that parliament members will have to vote on Tuesday evening, besides voting for the new budget. It was also common practice to send questions to the cabinet regarding the budget. Aruba prime minister Wever Croes said today that she saw about 2000 questions, which is a large number. Parliament plans to vote for the motions and the budget Tuesday evening.
