ORANJESTAD – A Spanish construction company took the Aruba government to court for refusing to pay the company for work done. The company, Mantbraca Corporation NV was responsible for remodeling and reshaping of the Aruba Oranjestad Main street some years back. The company’s attorney Zuhaila Arendsz Marchena tells NoticiaCla, they want their payment for the work completed. The government however argues that fines due to construction delays refrains them from any further payment. Mantbraca disputes the claim, says the attorney. The case is currently in the court of appeal.
