ORANJESTAD — Education Minister Gerlien Croes has officially launched phase one of Learning Cities Aruba, a national initiative connected to UNESCO’s Global Network of Learning Cities.

The project aims to build a culture of continuous and inclusive learning through courses, workshops and practical activities across Aruba’s communities. Key themes include innovation, digitalization, artificial intelligence, multilingualism, inclusion and sustainable development.

The University of Aruba, IPA, Tienda di Educacion and local and international experts will form part of the collaborative network.

The Ministry of Education is inviting policymakers, education leaders, community organizations and international partners to help develop the platform and position Aruba as a regional model for learning, innovation and resilience.
