Santa Filomena first school to receive new multi-sport facility

ORANJESTAD – Colegio Santa Filomena has become the first school in Aruba to receive a new multi-sport facility for basketball and football, as part of a broader project by the Ministry of Education and Sports.

The initiative is being carried out together with Lotto pa Deporte and other partners, with the goal of creating more opportunities for physical activity and sports at schools.

Minister Gerlien Croes said the facilities should help children become more active, discover their talents and develop their sporting potential from a young age.

Santa Filomena is the first of several schools expected to receive similar facilities in the coming period.
