MIAMI - Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced its Summer 2028 schedule, featuring more than 450 voyages across 20 ships in the Bahamas, Caribbean and Europe. For Aruba, the main development is the first scheduled visit of Norwegian Luna to the island in May 2028.
The ship will operate a special 10-day repositioning cruise from Miami to New York City, with inaugural calls in Aruba, Curaçao and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The visit will add another modern NCL vessel to Aruba’s cruise lineup and could help bring additional cruise traffic during a period outside the traditionally strongest winter cruise season.
NCL is also expanding elsewhere in the Caribbean. Norwegian Aura will operate seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruises from Miami, Norwegian Prima will sail Western Caribbean itineraries from Galveston, and Norwegian Aqua will offer shorter three- and four-night Bahamas cruises.
