State Department commends Aruba Police Force drug combatting efforts

WASHINGTON – The US State Department commended the Aruba police force for their effort in combating illegal drug trafficking. This was published in the latest State Department International Narcotics Control Strategy Report. “The KPA continues to investigate trafficking organizations effectively. Curaçao and Sint Maarten are still establishing counter-drug organizational structures among their various agencies. It is imperative that both islands embrace regional cooperation and intelligence sharing efforts. Both Curaçao and Sint Maarten can look to Aruba as an example of how this is accomplished” the report concluded.
