Judge orders Aruba government to continue blocking prime piece of land

ORANJESTAD – An Aruban Judge ordered the Aruba government to (continue) blocking a piece of land, but this time using big stones instead of the current wooden barricades. It also prohibited the Aruba government to issue the land in ground lease until the current destination spatial development plan (ROP) is adjusted. The disputed land runs from the current The Mill Resort to the ex House of Cheng building at Palm Beach. When a developer suddenly started prepping the disputed piece of land for future construction, the Aruba Bird Life Conservation Organization jumped in and took the government to court.
