Aruba native Tisa LaSorte is AHATA’s new CEO and President

ORANJESTAD – Aruba native Tisa LaSorte was appointed as Aruba Hotel & Tourism Associations' (AHATA) new CEO and president, according to a written statement issued Sunday by the association. LaSorte currently is a member of the Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort’s management, the islands premier Eco friendly hotel.

LaSorte is no stranger to the tourism industry and high profile positions, and comes from a tourism oriented family as her father held an important tourism gubernamental position in his days. Prior to entering the tourism business, LaSorte worked in the broadcast business. First in Aruba as a local TV reporter at the islands only TV station, and later moved to the USA where she had a 20-year successful broadcasting career, running i.e. the news department at popular radio stations in Chicago and Phoenix.
