THE HAGUE — TUI will increase its Aruba flights from two to three weekly starting in April 2027, following discussions between Tourism Minister Wendrick Cicilia, ATA Director Ronella Croes, and TUI executives in The Hague.
Aruba is increasing its European tourism marketing and investment budget by 35%, while ATA projects 16% growth in European visitors.
According to Cicilia, European tourists tend to stay longer and spend more, creating opportunities for cultural tourism and accommodation development in Oranjestad and San Nicolas.
TUI is considering eventually expanding to five weekly flights, while Aruba is exploring additional connections with Switzerland and Spain. These plans remain unconfirmed.
TUI also intends to expand its accommodation portfolio with apartments and condominiums catering to different budgets.
