KRALENDIJK — Colombian airline Avianca has confirmed that Bonaire is not included in its plans for new flight routes in 2027.
The airline says its current priority is strengthening air connections through Aruba and Curaçao, while continuing to evaluate opportunities in other Caribbean markets.
Meanwhile, questions remain about the results of meetings held by Bonaire's delegation with airlines during the Routes Americas conference in Brazil in March 2026.
Bonaire International Airport (BIA) and Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) have yet to provide a detailed explanation of the visit's outcomes.
