ORANJESTAD — Southwest Airlines is expanding its international network with 11 new routes between November 2026 and June 2027, including nonstop service between Nashville, Tennessee, and Aruba, scheduled to begin in March 2027.

According to aviation analytics firm Cirium, Southwest will be the only airline operating nonstop flights between Nashville and Aruba, opening a new direct connection to the American tourism market.

The expansion also includes flights from Nashville to Costa Rica, the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos, alongside additional Caribbean and Central American routes from other US cities.

The Nashville–Aruba connection offers an opportunity to strengthen US tourism and attract visitors from an additional American market.
