ORANJESTAD — The Ministry of Youth, led by Minister Gerlien Croes, has invited more than 120 organizations to contribute to Aruba’s Integrated Youth Policy 2027–2037. Consultation rounds run from August 27 to October 29, 2026.

The discussions focus on mental health, safety, education, equal opportunities, school dropout, substance use and family support. Representatives from different sectors are sharing experience and proposing priorities and concrete actions.

According to Croes, children’s and young people’s wellbeing is a shared responsibility requiring cooperation between government and the community. The initial document is not a final policy; contributions will help define goals and implementation steps for the next ten years.
