ORANJESTAD — Aruban singer Osdelly Lacroes represented Aruba at the fourth Euro-Venezuelan Jazz Festival, performing on October 2 and 3 in La Guaira and Caracas, Venezuela.

Lacroes was accompanied by pianist Kyle Winklaar, bassist Ivan Quandus, and drummer and musical director Carlos Bislip, all affiliated with Aruba's Rufo Wever Music School.

The performances combined international jazz standards with compositions from Aruba and Curaçao, including “Min’sa,” “Cunucu di Seit,” and “E Mariposa.”

At Caracas's Teresa Carreño Theater, the Aruban musicians also joined the Simón Bolívar Big Band for a musical jam session. The visit provided opportunities for cultural and professional exchange.

The delegation thanked the Aruban government and other sponsors for their support.
