Deputy Prime Minister Croes to present 2026–2027 AIOF investment budget to Parliament

ORANJESTAD — Deputy Prime Minister Gerlien Croes will present and defend the AVP-FUTURO government's 2026–2027 General Investment and Development Fund (AIOF) budget in Parliament on October 8 and 9.
The investment agenda covers government digitalization, infrastructure, urban renewal, education, security, social development, sports and sustainability.
Together with the Minister of Finance and other cabinet members, Croes will outline the government's investment priorities under the recently approved AIOF legislation.
According to Croes, transparency, democratic accountability and project implementation will be central to the parliamentary debate.
