WILLEMSTAD — Aruba's Prime Minister Mike Eman is attending the Caribbean United in Excellence Summit in Curaçao from October 7–11, emphasizing regional cooperation and shared prosperity.
Eman stressed that despite economic growth and strong tourism performance, the benefits do not always reach all segments of society. He urged businesses to support a fairer distribution of prosperity and adequate compensation for workers.
He also highlighted the importance of stronger trade, cultural and economic ties between Aruba and other Caribbean countries.
On October 9, Eman will join regional leaders from Curaçao, Jamaica and Suriname for a leadership panel. The summit also includes the signing of a joint declaration on October 10.
