ORANJESTAD — The Aruba Police Force is launching a new national awareness campaign focused on the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol or other substances. Its central message is simple: “Find your responsible friend.”
Police are urging people who plan to drink to designate a driver who has not consumed alcohol or other substances and can safely drive everyone home. KPA warns that driving under the influence can have fatal consequences not only for the driver, but also for innocent road users.
Traffic controls will continue, and police say enforcement will become even stricter as the end of the year approaches. The community is being urged to act responsibly and help prevent tragedies on Aruba’s roads.
