La Cabana marks 35 years with staff recognition and community support

EAGLE BEACH — La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino celebrated its 35th anniversary with a reception for board members, dignitaries and partners, following an anniversary celebration with staff in December.

The resort, which officially opened on December 15, 1990, has undergone several phases of renovation. The reception took place around its newly inaugurated adult pool, part of the latest improvements.

General manager Joe Najjar highlighted the Mansur family’s vision, the confidence of owners and the contributions of employees and partners to the resort’s development. He also emphasized its role in creating jobs and supporting local businesses.

Special recognition went to six employees celebrating 35 years at La Cabana: Ingrid Bremer, Efigenio Dania, Giovanni Britten, Nilda Girigori, Ninfa Jaranillo and Susan Estanislao.

The event also honored retiring board members for their years of service. In addition, the board donated to La Cabana Aportando to support the association’s charitable initiatives.
