Three arrested, large quantity of drugs seized in organized crime investigation

ORANJESTAD – Aruba’s Organized Crime Unit, together with the Recherche Samenwerkings Team (RST), arrested three people Friday morning as part of a major organized crime investigation.

The suspects are two Aruban men and one Jamaican man.

During the operation, authorities carried out two judicial searches. The first took place at a residence in Sero Patrishi, followed by a second search at a home in Pos Chikito.

Police seized a large quantity of drugs as well as a considerable amount of cash during the searches.

The investigation remains ongoing and authorities have not ruled out further arrests.
