AAA celebrates Aruba’s press with Musical Bingo and travel vouchers

ORANJESTAD – Aruba Airport Authority (AAA) hosted a lively and enjoyable evening for members of Aruba’s press ahead of Press Day on September 1.

The event took place at U Wanna Beer, where representatives from different media outlets competed in Musical Bingo—an entertaining combination of music, song recognition and friendly competition.

Airport CEO Jonny Andersen, who took office in January 2026, welcomed the guests before the game began and participants put their musical knowledge to the test.

Three contestants ultimately emerged as the winners: Bati Bleki columnist Rona Coster, Theodore de Jongh of 24ora.com and NoticiaCla’s Tito Laclé.

Each winner received a travel voucher that can be used towards their next destination.

AAA created a fun and informal occasion to recognise the work of the press, while giving colleagues from different media organisations an opportunity to enjoy an evening together away from the daily cycle of news and deadlines.
