Curaçao beats Nicaragua 12-3 at Little League World Series
WILLIAMSPORT – Curaçao earned a commanding 12-3 victory over Nicaragua at the Little League Baseball World Series, combining a powerful offense with strong pitching.
Curaçao took control early and built a 10-0 lead in the second inning. Key hits included a single by Jaymiel Antonia that drove in Naeem Angel Coeriel, a hit by Juriënsly De Windt that helped bring home two runs, and a double by Ruendrikson Leuteria that added another run.
The Curaçao offense added more in the sixth inning. Q'Jeaume Valks singled to center field, while two additional runs scored following a defensive error, extending the lead to 12-3.
On the mound, Giendry Ryan kept Nicaragua under control late in the game. He struck out three batters in the fifth inning and then closed out the sixth without allowing the opponent back into contention.
The 12-3 win underlined Curaçao’s offensive strength and pitching depth in the international tournament.
