Kiwanis and Red Cross prepare 100 children for back to school
ORANJESTAD - Red Cross Aruba, Kiwanis Club of Aruba, Kiwanis Club of Palm Beach and Kiwanis Club of San Nicolas joined forces to organize the Back to School 2026 project, benefiting a total of 100 children.
The event took place at Centro di Bario Dakota, where the children received school supplies and participated in activities focused on health, hygiene, sports and recreation. They also received information in a simple and interactive way about personal hygiene, health and the importance of an active lifestyle.
The program included games, sports activities and free haircuts for the children.
According to the organizers, the project was aimed not only at providing school materials, but also at supporting children’s well-being, self-confidence and a positive start to the new school year.
