KRALENDIJK – Dennis Martinus of the MPB party was officially sworn in as Bonaire's new island deputy during the Island Council meeting held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. With Martinus' appointment, the Executive Council is once again complete.

Following the swearing-in ceremony, attended by family members and invited guests, Martinus expressed his gratitude and his ambition to serve the island. Members of the Island Council congratulated him and wished him success in his new role.

Portfolio allocation to be announced soon

The Executive Council is expected to determine the distribution of portfolios during its next meeting. The official allocation will be announced immediately afterward.
