ORANJESTAD – Airline Wingo will officially celebrate the launch of its new route from Baranquilla to Aruba today with an inaugural flight ceremony at Queen Beatrix International Airport.
According to the official program, the airline's inaugural flight is scheduled to arrive at 12:15 p.m., followed by a formal ceremony. Speakers include Aruba's Minister of Tourism, Transportation and Labor, Wendrick Cicilia, along with Wingo executives Carlos Meléndez, Director of Network Planning and Performance, and Barbara Brown, Chief Revenue Development & Communications Officer.
The ceremony will also feature an exchange of appreciation gifts, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a ceremonial cake.
The new service further strengthens Aruba's air connectivity with Colombia and is expected to support both tourism and commercial ties between the two destinations.
