WILLEMSTAD – Starting Thursday, July 9, 2026, the Curaçao Police will introduce a new Pre-Clearance service for passengers traveling abroad with minors. The initiative is intended to speed up and simplify airport departure procedures.
Parents or legal guardians can have all required travel documents checked before their departure date. If everything is in order, Immigration will officially validate the documents.
On the day of travel, passengers can present the pre-approved documents at the airport, allowing for a faster and more efficient immigration process.
Depending on the situation, travelers must present valid travel documents, the travel-with-a-minor form, a marriage certificate or extended birth certificate, a travel authorization, guardianship documents, and any other documents listed in the official information brochure.
The free service is available at the main police headquarters on Winston Churchillweg from Monday through Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It will remain available throughout the summer vacation period.
